Low Light Small Team CQB

This course teaches the same content as traditional Small Team CQB, but the emphasis is on fighting in structures in the dark. It is a 32 hour course introducing and developing the techniques that are the fundamental building blocks of all CQB—the two-man team.

The course rapidly transitions to the utilization of white light techniques.  It is not a night vision course.

When conducted at the Canton, Ohio training site these classes are UTM ONLY.  Bring no live ammunition to these courses.

M4 pattern UTM bolts are provided. If you utilize another primary weapon system you must bring your own UTM bolt. No exceptions.

UTM man-marker ammunition is available for purchase at the class. 75 cents per round.

You may bring your pistols as part of your first line gear however, we will not utilize UTM nor live ammunition in our pistols.

Prerequisites: US Citizen or ITAR approved person, and graduate of reputable handgun and carbine operator courses.

Equipment List:

• Common Sense
• Carbine with 5 magazines (Carbine should be zero’d when you arrive)
• Carbine magazine pouches
• Handgun and 3 magazines
• Tactical holster (No inside the waistband holsters)
• Handheld and weapon mounted lights 
• Ballistic vest (Level IV or III ICW plates) and ballistic helmet (limited rentals are available)
• IFAK and TQ
• 200 rounds carbine ammunition
• 50 rounds handgun ammunition
• Electronic hearing protection which fit under your helmet
• Clear eye protection
• 2 green chemlights or PID light
• Water and snack food
• Weather appropriate clothing
• Pen and notebook (you will be taking notes)
• No live ammunition at the Canton, OH facility.  UTM only as per instructions above.
